It is recommended that the eyes be closed for the UV photos due to the intensity of UV flashes. For standard photos, the eyes can be either open or closed, but open eyes result in more aesthetically pleasing images. The analysis is done using the standard photo, so closed eyes during UV imaging won’t impact the results.
Since VISIA involves high-definition photographs, there are no reported side effects associated with the process.
A typical VISIA skin analysis takes 10-15 minutes, which includes time for cleansing, taking the images, and the system's detailed analysis.
